Installing the Windows 8 Consumer Preview is probably the easiest operating system that Microsoft has developed, so far. I downloaded the Consumer Preview ISO
image directly from the Microsoft website and performed a clean installation of the product. Of course, you can perform an upgrade from Windows 7, but
I generally prefer to run a clean install to ensure that my new operating system will run problem free and optimized. One thing to keep in mind, if
you install the Windows 8 Consumer Preview, you need to understand that this product is in BETA testing. The version may contain bugs or not work exactly
as you would expect. The final Windows 8 product may also look different than what you will see when you load this version. In any case, installing and
running the BETA, then the RCs (Release Candidates), gives us all an opportunity to see and experience the new product.
